CARE is much more than just an animal rescue. We are a non-profit animal education resource organization. Those who apply to adopt from us or foster with us will be treated with kindness and respect. We want to make the adoption or fostering process as easy and fun as possible while maintaining the safety of the animals we are rescuing. Almost anyone can properly care for an animal with the correct support and education and we are ready to provide that education to the community! We are not breed specific, we work with local animal shelters to rescue the most adoptable pets. We are not an animal removal service. If you see a stray animal on your property the best course of action is to call your local animal control officer to come and take the animal to the local shelter. That is the first place that people will check when they have lost their animals. It is also the place where most rescue groups choose which animals they can help.
We do offer services to families in crisis who need temporary foster care or need to put their animals up for adoption. But we can't take them without foster homes to put them in. We need your help!
When adopting a pet from CARE we will not send an animal home with you and wish you the best of luck...we will work with you to assure you find the right animal with the right temperament for your situation. We will be there to help you if a problem arises two weeks or two months after the adoption occurs. Once you adopt from us you become part of the CARE family and our resources will always be available to you.
Having pet problems? Our board members and volunteers are all animal lovers and would love to puzzle out your worst pet problems, especially if it will prevent you from relinquishing your pet! Give us a call, leave a message and someone will return your call. Or you can e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
It is our goal to place every animal in a loving foster home until they can find a forever home. We will do their best to place any type of animal. All animals up for adoption can be found on the Adoptable Pets page. Check back often as we are always developing our programs and adding new animals, features, events and web links every day. We also have a Facebook page. Members of the Armed Forces should check out special services offered through GI Wishes at GIWishes.org or e-mail GIWishesFoundation@cox.net
We are currently looking for foster homes for cats and dogs. If you are interested in helping out, have any suggestions for events, or would just like some more information you may use the Contact Us link above or you can use our contact information below.
